Two people are known to have been killed and 4 others wounded in double road accidents in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu, Warqaad reports

The two victims reportedly to be women, who were killed after the driver lost the control of the car and ran over them on the roadside of under a bridge in Mogadishu’s Hamar-Jajab, witnesses said.

Several officials from local authorities said that number of people had been evacuated from the scene and being taken to Madina hospital for medical treatment.

Four other people were also wounded after a speedy rickshaw in which they were travelling has on Thursday morning, veered off the road and went upside down in Mogadishu’s Wadajir.

In Somalia, road accidents are common and drivers are always accused of having no experience or skills to drive as some roads are still rough and not repaired since the collapse of central government.
